Face Lift, Otoplasty, Rhinoplasty, and More - Near St. Louis
Dr. Jeffrey Copeland offers the most advanced techniques available in cosmetic surgery for the face. From short scar face lift and blepharoplasty to endoscopic brow lift and rhinoplasty, our St. Louis-area staff invites you to discover the many ways in which you can refresh, rejuvenate and remove years from your face.
Short Scar Face Lift
Short scar face lift, also known as minimal access cranial suspension lift (MACS), is a great alternative for people who want the benefits of a traditional face lift but with less recovery time and scarring. Short scar face lift is a very popular procedure at our St. Louis-area office.
The procedure addresses the areas of the face that show the most visible signs of age. Unlike traditional face lift where an incision is made along the length of the hairline and around the ear, during short scar face lift a short incision is made in front of the ear and along the hairline. The skin is then separated from the muscle and fat, the muscles are tightened and the skin is pulled back. Short scar face lift is becoming an increasingly popular option for our St. Louis-area patients.
This procedure can be performed under local or general anesthesia and can be performed in conjunction with other procedures to improve results. During a consultation, Dr. Jeffrey Copeland will discuss all of the potential risks and benefits of the procedure.

Endoscopic Brow Lift
The brow lift refreshes and revitalizes the face by lifting the brow area to a higher level. The procedure involves adjusting and manipulating forehead skin to lift drooping brows and reduce forehead wrinkles that cause a tired and aged appearance.
The groundbreaking endoscopic brow lift is now available at our facility near St. Louis. This technique allows the doctor to closely view the progress of the procedure by using a tiny camera and light. Tiny incisions are made so this procedure is ideal for individuals who do not have sufficient hairline to cover the scars produced by traditional brow lift. Endoscopic brow lift is a much less invasive technique that traditional brow lift surgery so recovery time is shortened and there is significantly less bruising, bleeding, and swelling.
During your consultation at our St. Louis-area office, Dr. Jeffrey Copeland will discuss endoscopic brow lift surgery with you in detail. He will also go over the potential risks and benefits of the procedure and if you may be a candidate for another facial plastic surgery option such as the short scar face lift.

Several different approaches can be taken to perform rhinoplasty at our office near St. Louis. For instance, incisions can be made either inside or outside of the nose and several different reshaping or recontouring techniques can be used depending on each patient’s unique situation. Dr. Jeffrey Copeland will determine which surgical method will work best for you.
Rhinoplasty can be performed under general or local anesthesia and the surgery can usually be completed in one to two hours. Most people can return to sedentary activities within a few days following rhinoplasty surgery. Otoplasty
Otoplasty is ear surgery designed to address protruding or large ears. Otoplasty is available at our St. Louis-area practice and is commonly performed on both children and adults. Otoplasty can make a dramatic change in the lives of children enduring teasing and embarrassment from protruding or overly large ears. Thanks to otoplasty, the emotional scars can be healed and self-confidence can be restored.
Depending on the nature of the problem, Dr. Jeffrey Copeland can take several different surgical approaches. Otoplasty surgery usually lasts between two to three hours. During the surgery, Dr. Copeland will make an incision behind the ear and manipulate the cartilage to pull the ear back. The result is a less prominent, more aesthetically pleasing appearance for the patient’s ears.
During a consultation with Dr. Copeland at his office in St. Peters, he will determine the best surgical approach to address the patient’s situation. Dr. Copeland will also discuss the risks and benefits of the surgical procedure so his patient can make an informed decision about undergoing otoplasty.
Dr. Copeland will determine which otoplasty technique will work best for you and our expert
St. Louis-area

Blepharoplasty – Eyelid Surgery
Blepharoplasty at our St. Louis-area facility removes or repositions excess fat and skin from the upper and lower eyelid area. The goal of the procedure is to eliminate puffiness and drooping around the eyelid that produces an aged, tired appearance. Once the procedure is completed, patients tend to look more youthful and energetic.
During the procedure an incision is made within the eyelid crease so visible scarring is usually nonexistent. It is through this incision that the excess tissue is removed. The procedure can be performed under sedation or general anesthesia. The procedure usually takes about an hour to perform and most patients can resume normal activities one week following surgery.
Dr. Jeffrey Copeland will speak with you in detail about your blepharoplasty procedure at our St. Louis-area office during your consultation, which will include a discussion of the risks and benefits of the surgical procedure. This will be done to ensure that you are fully informed and confident going into your procedure.
If you are interested in blepharoplasty at our St. Louis-area office and would like to learn more, we encourage you to schedule a consultation with Dr. Jeffrey Copeland today. Our staff looks forward to meeting with you.

Restylane®
Restylane® is a highly effective dermal filler for the treatment of wrinkles and deep skin folds. It can smooth out wrinkles and make the face look fuller, fresher, and rejuvenated. It consists of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the human body. Restylane® provides a significant advantage over animal-based fillers as it eliminates the risk of animal-related allergens and possible transmission of disease.
Restylane® results can last up to six months, substantially longer than most other fillers.
Schedule a consultation at our cosmetic surgery office in St. Peters to learn more about these and other procedures to enhance your appearance.

Sculptra®
Sculptra® is an FDA-approved soft tissue filler used to add volume to the face. Sculptra® can also be used to reduce the appearance of scars, wrinkles, and skin folds. Loss of facial fat (lipoatrophy) can make the eyes look hollowed and cause the cheeks to sink in. Thanks to this innovative product, our patients can obtain a more youthful, refreshed appearance.
Sculptra® consists of a biocompatible substance called poly-L-lactic acid, so skin testing prior to your procedure is not necessary. Poly-L-lactic acid has been used for many years in surgical procedures and medicines.
As with any other procedure, the doctor will want to take a thorough medical history prior to your treatment.
Treatment needs vary – Dr. Jeffrey Copeland will determine the frequency of Sculptra® injections that will create the best possible results for you.
